Hi all,
The survey is out to everyone now, so check your email and reply ASAP. I've uploaded all of the downloadable items, which will become available to you once we lock surveys (and charge cards for anyone paying shipping and/or adding extra items), which we are on target to do next week!
Thanks so much for your support of this project and let's get ready to fulfill your rewards!

Hi all,
We've completed our Backerkit survey process and sent out the "smoke test" to a random 5% sample of backers just to check and make sure whether there are any issues that need fixing before we send it out to everyone. Please check your emails (including spam folders) to see if you're one of the folks who receives it. We'll check responses and make any last-minute adjustments as needed and then send out the full survey to everyone tomorrow afternoon!
Foundry VTT support for Mechanical Monsters 5E!

Hi all,
I was checking through my files and discovered to my chagrin that I had overlooked the fact that we already created a Foundry VTT Module for Mechanical Monsters 5E! For Foundry fans using 5E, rejoice! Obviously it's too late to include it in the Kickstarter, but I'll get it set up as an extra item you can order in Backerkit once the BK folks finish their review.
Apologies for missing that but glad I found it in good time for any of you who want it to order that add-on!
Alien Codex/Bestiary mixup! Backerkit survey submitted!

Hi all,
A couple of quick notes:
-
Alien Codex/Bestiary: It looks like I had a cut-paste error and some people received two links for the Alien Bestiary and no link for the Alien Codex. I've resent links for the Alien Codex (5E) and Alien Codex (PF1) for people who got those items as part of their pledge.
-
Variable Add-Ons: For some add-on items, you have multiple options you can select in the Backerkit survey, like a VTT module where you choose Roll20 or Shard, or the Alien Codex add-on where you select PF1, SF, or 5E. If you added on one of those, we won't be able to send those PDFs until the survey because we won't know which version you're selecting. We'll be waiting until the survey to send out VTT keys as well, as in many cases we need to request them from the provider and it's easier to do all at once.
-
Game System Switch: Every once in a while, a backer discovers they've backed the wrong system. If that happens, not to worry. You should be able to select the system you want in Backerkit, even if it's different from your original pledge. If you do run into trouble, we can manually switch your pledge for you. In some cases, there are not equivalent pledges for all systems, but we can deal with anything like that on a case-by-case basis.
-
Backerkit Survey: The survey is complete and has been sent to BK to review. They'll take a look on Monday and we should hear back by midweek, and once we have made any necessary adjustments we can send out the "Smoke Test" to 5% of backers so they can make sure everything is where it needs to be. We wait 24 hours for feedback and make any adjustments to the survey and then send it out to everyone. We'll announce when the smoke test goes out (hopefully next Wednesday or Thursday), so please check our email when that happens and reply ASAP if you're one of the recipients. Then we'll get the survey out to everyone.
Once again, thanks so much for making this campaign a success and happy reading for all of your new PDFs. Fulfilling a QUICK-starter is very satisfying and we hope you are enjoying it too!
WE DID IT! Quick notes for what happens next and one final shout-out!

Hi all,
As this campaign ends, we thank each and every one of you for your support in making it a reality, with a special shout out to TPalm24 (backer #400) and to Thassilonian, our final backer of the campaign who got their pledge in with literally one second to go! Combined with our original Mechanical Monsters project, a combined total of nearly 1400 backers have pledged over $70,000 to make these PDFs, books, and VTT modules a reality and we cannot express enough our appreciation to all of our fans and friends! On to the brass tacks!
-
PDFs: I'll be downloading reports from Kickstarter momentarily and starting to send out redemption codes for you to access your PDFs via DrivethruRPG tonight. To access them, make sure you are logged into your DrivethruRPG account (they are free to create if you don't already have one) and go to your My Downloads and they should be accessible there. It sometimes takes a little time for them to cycle through the system, so if they don't arrive immediately check back in the morning and they should be there.
-
Backerkit Survey: I also got an early start on our Backerkit survey, which is mostly done already. I have to fill in some more information now that the Kickstarter is done and sync the survey to our Kickstarter but we should be ready to submit the survey for review tomorrow and hopefully have approval to send it out next week!
-
Print Books: As noted in our last update, our 5E books are hitting the port in a matter of days and should be through customs and delivered to us in a week or two after that. PF1 and PF2 books should be ready to start shipping as soon as we process Backerkit surveys and collect shipping there.
Last but not least, we forgot one of our partner companies out there that is running their own Kickstarter project right now and we never want to stint on sharing the love around our great community of gamers and small companies making incredible products. Tove & Erik at Midnight Tower have their own project that ends next week on February 14th with the Battle for the Realm Trilogy, a level 13-15 trilogy of adventures for 5E that can be played as standalones or as a killer capstone for their Eastern Farraway Adventures saga. Fantastic-quality high-level 5E adventures are rare as hen's teeth, and they've knocked it out of the park with quality and some truly beautiful production values, so if you're looking for some awesome adventures, and in particular if you love planar adventure rules, lore, and more, please do check it out.
